Approached by St. Francis Health Care Services to document their Child Protection interventions aimed to strengthen social safety nets protecting children and youth from abuse and exploitation and increase access to legal support and civil restitution for vulnerable children and their households.
About St. Francis Health Care Services
St. Francis Health Care Services is a non-governmental service organization in Central Uganda which serves OVC (Orphans and Vulnerable Children), grandmothers, youth, care and treatment of HIV positive clients, women, adolescent girls and young women using different intervention in its efforts to mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS for both the infected and affected population.

Annual Report
In 2019 St. Francis health care services reached 2,123 Beneficiaries with nutritional education, 253 Households established backyard gardens, 903 reached with family planning in the community & 3,233 Women accessed family planning services. Through the years, St. Francis Healthcare Services has committed to providing equitable, inclusive and affordable quality health care, economic empowerment and social services to the community.
Low-cost high-impact health and social interventions that address the greatest needs of vulnerable families using the Family Development Plan while triggering local capacity to make sustainable solutions for the challenges they face. This proven model has enabled us to reach over 15,000 clients in 2019 from Buikwe, Jinja, Kayunga and Mukono districts.
